Every person should have a estate and life plan that includes provisions for both family and business. At the very minimum, to deal with problems that may arise during your lifetime, your basic estate plan should consists of a Basic Will, Durable General Power of Attorney, and Advance Health Care Directive (or Living Will). Your estate plan may need additional documents or additional care and consideration if you have minor children or other dependants, or you own any assets, including real estate, bank accounts, brokerage accounts, retirement accounts or life insurance that would need to be distributed after your death.
